| Martin Saalberg Advisor Martin F. Saalberg began his real estate career with the JC Penney Company where he was responsible for strategic planning, demographic analysis, site selection and lease negotiations for new stores. He also managed a portfolio of existing stores in nine western states. Martin then worked for General Growth, gaining the ownership and asset management perspective. He enhanced his expertise in shopping center site selection and negotiations with department stores and other anchor tenants. For the next nine years Martin worked first for the Kmart Corporation as a real estate manager, then as a real estate director for Rite Aid/Thrifty Payless Inc. He gained increasing levels of authority for new store development covering seven western states and working closely with preferred developers on aggressive expansion programs. Mr. Saalberg was next a Senior Real Estate Manager for Albertson’s Inc. During eight years there he was responsible for all facets of opening numerous new Albertson’s supermarkets and Sav-on drug stores. He also oversaw a large portfolio of existing stores where he completed store expansions, lease extensions and terminations. Most recently, he has been performing all phases of development, identification of new opportunities, tenant site selection, lease negotiation, purchase & sale agreements, entitlement and debt/equity financing at Lake Development Group, Inc.
